Introduction
Specifications
There is nothing much surprising stuff, but as expected the device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset @ 2.3 GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage (there might be others with some more storage) and a 5" screen (actually, 4.97") with 1080p resolution, 442ppi pixel density.
It seems that front camera might be an 8 MP shooter and rear camera 1.2 MP. Hoping that there is Optical Image Stabilization for this device( probably not).
The Nexus 5 will pack dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS connectivity. The model whose log file leaked ran on North American LTE bands.
The phone will have wireless charging built in and while battery capacity wasn’t in the logs, but the FCC docs point to a 2,300mAh unit. There will also be a full set of sensors – accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity and light sensors as well as a barometer.
Conclusion
Despite of the release of monster LG G2, the LG Nexus 5 had attracted a lot attention even before its release. Its creating hype for the smartphone freaks out there. Overall the device managed to be on the par with the big heads like Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG G2, Xperia Z1. But LG should consider increasing some internal memory, camera improvements to increase its sales in upcoming Q4.Source: gsmarena
